David has more than 30 years of pharmaceutical experience as a scientist, educator, and strategic marketer, covering nearly every therapeutic category. At Sentrix, David specializes in uncovering insights and putting them into practice for his clients. He has designed, moderated, and analyzed market research to ensure that positioning, branding, and strategies maximize a brand’s value.
David started his career as a scientist at Eli Lilly & Company before moving into a product manager role with Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, where he managed the cardiovascular portfolio and launched the first bisphosphonate for osteoporosis. On the agency side, David has amassed an impressive list of leadership roles and accolades. As Director of Client Services for NCI Worldwide, he helped launch several oncology brands globally. As Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare, he assured global integration of all brands for Sanofi-Aventis and AstraZeneca. And as Global Marketing Director at Lowe Healthcare, he helped build an international agency network.
David’s credentials include three degrees (BS in microbiology from Cornell, MS in pharmacology from Washington State, and MBA in marketing from Indiana University). His passion for strategy and education continues through his role as an adjunct professor of marketing strategy in the MBA program at Baruch College, a division of CUNY.
